OMG I love thumpa thumpa dance music, I'm not gonna lie. *dances around living room*

Oh, and I can dance freely since my roommate is in Maryland for the weekend, hee hee. I had a mini QAF marathon to celebrate the arrival my shiny new S5 DVDs and stayed up as late as I bloody pleased without the fear of disapproving glares. Mostly I worked, though, and that sucked.

The new Vanished promo pictures that are floating around on the internets make me a happy fangirl. Gale Harold plus network telly equals way too much happy at one time. I'm an incoherent mess over the man, but *flails arms* such is Gale Harold. Vanished is definitely a show I'll be Tivo-ing when I get it set up, but what else should I set to record on a regular basis? Here's my list so far:

-Vanished
-Project Runway (Tim Gunn reminds me so much of my ex-choir director it's scary, OMG. By the way, in case anyone cares--
lovebeingcheer--Tuba David e-mailed me the other day re: Boston, and apparently it is as fabulous as it sounds. That is all.)
-Psych
-House
-Grey's Anatomy ("I am NOT your sister!" Oh, Han, if anyone ever says that we don't have a type when it comes to fictional boyfriends, they're so dead wrong. George = love.)
-a smattering of things here and there on Showtime and HBO (but damn you, Showtime, for canceling Huff!); however, the thing with the shows on those networks is that they replay them seven thousand times during the week, so I'll figure it out later when I'm back at GW and I actually have those channels

Any other suggestions? I'm always looking for a new obsession.

I think if I've learned one thing this summer, it's that experiences can be totally made by the people you are or aren't with. I mean, I miss my DC friends so, so much, and not having them around makes some of this seem kind of empty. No, not empty, that's not the right word. Let me give an example: some nights I wander the Village just because I can, and I take in the sights and sounds of a brilliant city. Maybe I get a cupcake at Magnolia's. As I stand there on the street corner near the 14th Street subway, licking frosting off my fingers, I realize that I'm the only one who will know that the whole evening happened at all. I'm alone in the experience. I guess that's what compels me to write about it, so it doesn't get lost, but still. I want to share it with them, I want to drag Colleen through midtown like a tourist and take her shopping in SoHo. I want to go see a show with
zoller, and then maybe find a little 24-hour diner that sells pie. I want to go star stalking with Han, while at the same time pretending that we're totally not ridiculous fangirls when we see Rufus Wainwright on the street.

My Itunes playlist (which is on shuffle) just started playing Sleep, ha. I'm emo like season five Brian Kinney. Sadly, I'm not a sextacular gay man and I don't have a hot blond boy that loves me. By the way, for all the cynics out there, real love stories never end. So there. *is a little drunk, okay?*

I'm going to bed now.
