Roommate: *confused* I don't think so. *goes back to her knitting*
Me: Well, it should be. OMG, you know what would be the best dinosaur ever? A Plathosaur. It would look really emo.
Roommate: ...*knits*...
Me: Hey, what was that word based on the character from Candide?
Roommate: Panglossian?
Me: That's the one.
Roommate: *comes in from other room, scuffs foot on ground* Okay, don't freak out, but I appear to have permenently transferred my work schedule onto the desk with purple ink. Oh, and it's backwards, because the Post-it got wet while it was upside down.
Me: *stares*

Okay, so the Exciting Event of My Day would have to be the fact that I'm getting Tivo! Ali messaged me this morning to tell me that tivo.com was running a promotion where if you sign up for a year of service (at a reduced price), you get the Tivo box with DVR for FREE, baby! Ali got one, too, so the Tivo count for our room next semester has just jumped from zero to two, hee hee! As a television whore, I've been lusting after Justin and Guy's Tivos for a while now, and yeah. I'M A LITTLE EXCITED.
My dare challenge fic is coming along nicely, and so far it's stalled around five pages (single spaced), but with the scenes I'll be adding it's probably going to end up at around ten or twelve. This is, of course, a guesstimate contingent on the assumption that I won't add more scenes. I'm kind of nervous about it, but I hope Han won't mind reading it and telling me if it totally sucks.
One of my old roommates left me a message on my Facebook wall, and it totally made my day..."so over the weekend some people decided to watch queer as folk, but other people there hadn't seen it at all (they must live under a rock), but thankfully i was able to enlighten them with all my knowledge of brian and justin, lol...made me think of you! " Seriously, I was smiling for like ten minutes after reading that, even though MJR told me that my obsession about QAF makes him wonder about my private life, ha!
