I can has fun tings!
OK, so it took me awhile to warm up to the concept of LOL cats, mostly because I DIDN'T GET WHY THINGS WERE SPELLED THAT WAY.
but I'm better now. If you focus on the silliness of the cats first, the text messaging-ization of that website is slightly easier to take.
Some good things today:
1. It's in the sixties. Again. :)
2. Ray LaMontagne is coming to the Calvin Theatre in May!!
3. The Squirrel Nut Zippers are back together and coming to Northampton in June!!!
4. I'm getting my LADC in just a couple months!
5. The crocuses are just going to town in the front yard and my rhubarb is beginning to come up.
6. I watched a video on the Gustavus website about the rebuilding of the campus after the tornado, which was ten years ago this spring. Ugh. It's amazing how one can get fairly traumatized ten years after the fact. But! That's not the good thing. The good thing is that they HAVE rebuilt the campus and it has many new features that make it better than ever.
Now I'm going to go buy a new address book and get some things at the Co-op, and maybe run into some friends! Wait. I'm going to the Co-op? I'll be amazed if I *don't* run into people I know.
