I LOVE this chapter. I've read (and written) so many stories in which Remus and Sirius are able to quickly pick up the pieces and begin again, or--at the very least--are certain from the very beginning that they hope to pick up the pieces. This complete uncertainty--are they capable of loving each other again, do they even want to--is much more plausible.

Yeah - I think it would be really, really hard for them to get back together quickly. Over a decade is a long time to not see someone you love(d).

I'm huge on honesty in real life and I like the idea that even though they're unsure around each other, they still have enough respect to get everything out in the open and not let anything sit and fester. Especially with the topics they covered.

This chapter was bittersweet....

It was horribly sad that Remus has truely fallen out of love with Sirius.... but it would probably be unrealisticlly simple for them to fall into each others arms and go back to being what they were...

13 years is a long time and they both have a lot of guilt and history to carry with them...

I am afraid for the time being I have quite fandom. Perhaps in the future I will finish this story, but for now I do not have the time with my family, my job, and school.
