explain to me how someone can fuck up pancakes *this* badly

i added the water like the box said, then i lightly greased my pan

i always expect the first one to come out badly ... and it did

but the second one did too - they kept sticking to the bottom of the pan =(

now i have a lump of cake mush in front of me which i've tried to salvage with butter and syrup

i'm glad i didn't make them last night for dinner for kyle and i

i'll return to my mush now ...
