~What a crazy weekend~
So I was lucky enough to attend Insurgence 4 this past weekend...and I wish I was still there :(
Steven R McQueen has to be the best guest you could ever ask for...this con was a million times better than A6 for me (and I never thought that would ever be possible) Steven was amazing with guests. I even got into a little debate with him during photo ops...he was singing eye of the tiger and I said that the song always reminds me of Jensen Ackles...he was like: What? So I tried to explain that Jensen had danced/mimed along to that song in the outtakes of SPN. But Steven wasn't having any of it and said it was from Rocky. As I moved away after having my photo taken, he was still insisting it was all about Rocky...I'm shaking my head as I'm walking away and he just shouts: ROCKY!!! *dies laughing*
Ian was pretty much everything I thought he was gonna be...he hugs so tightly, I swear I was gonna burst if he pulled me in any tighter, LOL. He even tried to compell my during one of my ops...he was like: "look at me" and then he just stared into my eyes...I'm suprised I didn't just melt right there. I had to tell him to stop, cos I forgot how to breath, he thought it was amusing...of course and as I moved away he held onto my hand until he had to let go :)
BUT for me the one person to make my entire weekend was Nathaniel Buzolic...Nate was EVERYTHING!!! He has such a way with words and couldn't have given more if he tried. He was the first guest I met during the entire weekend during autos. He looked down at my name on the post-it note and he said: "I recognise you...from twitter" I almost died. He was asking if I had seen his recent posts of him and his friends in London, and of course me being me said that he looked drunk in some of those pics. He just went with it, and was like: "well I do like a beer every now and then..." After that every time I had a photo op with him he always wanted to talk, even when there really was no time. Just when I thought I couldn't love that man any more.
