What the hell is vermiculture?
Using earthworms and microorganisms to convert organic waste into black, earthy-smelling, nutrient-rich humus is knowns as vermicomposting. - Marry Appelhof, Worms Eat My Garbage
I will be giving a talk on the subject at the next meeting of The Somerville Garden Club THIS Wednesday, 14 February 2007. Come celebrate Valentine's Day with invertebrates.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND!

Although, if you would like to join the club, membership is $20 and includes a 10% discount at Pemberton's and the monthly newsletter.

The SGC meets on the second Wednesday of every month 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building (TAB), 167 Holland St., second floor. The meetings are open to the public and are wheelchair accessible. Most meetings begin with a roundtable discussion of seasonal gardening issues, followed by a speaker, and ending with a raffle.
