Russian Iconic Imagery
So I enabled Cyrillic in order to get my lil' pirate icon guy by going here:

...and clicking the ticky-box for "Opt me into services originally developed for the Cyrillic users" BUT that gave me this big red tab with a white star in the middle of the bottom of my LJ tabs. It shows me news headlines in Russian. It's really annoying.
But now that the little icons are available for everyone, you can unclick Cyrillic & the star goes away, but you get to keep your icon.
Just thought ya might like to know that.
