What's Done

Cheese Weasel Day is done - I missed it. Sorry kids. Happy Belated Cheese Weasel Day!

Got the "I lost my passport & need a new one, fast" paperwork in today - squeaked in before the deadline (the Harvard Square Post Office closes its passport acceptance window at 4pm & I rolled in at 3:55pm).

Stopped by the Picnic & with some gentle nudging, got paid. Deposited the paycheck plus the a little extra (and early) birthday monies from the lovely parents and a few editing client checks, thus saving my bank account from dropping to zero when the State Department cashes my passport check.

Did laundry yesterday & today. Actually a huge deal since usually, when I do laundry, it's because I'm desperate. So two loads in two days is a big thang, since the first load eased the desperation already.

Yesterday (Thursday), with awesome company from muffyjo, put a bunch of projects into a bunch of clear plastic boxes for easier access & coordination while we chatted and she helped clean up some growing mail piles and cleared some magazine piles for me. Then we ran some of my errands (which is when I signed up with Planet Fitness), found Jo some new socks and me some supplies for making the previously mentioned projects for Somerville Open Studios (coming up in a month).

And, back on Wednesday, I proto-typed a bunch of things I want to make & sell at SOS. Plus I planned out some designs for making jewelry from little copper plates.

Set my schedule for next week - includes the David Sedaris show on Sunday, a visit with the sleep doctor Monday, working at Circlet Tuesday, a hair cut on Wednesday, working at the Picnic Thursday, and hanging out with at least one bud on Friday. And there's a tickle in my memory that I have something Saturday. I'll track that down.

Thus far, the upswing in mood & motivation continues. I need to do some sort of quick daily assessment to better track this shit. Bleah. Good night.
