All Your Coherency Are Belong To Us

Mar 11, 2008 05:50

I've been pouring what little brain power and coherency I have into my various jobs lately, so my apologies for not being clearer.

That list of diagnostic data wasn't gathered in one fell swoop. There are a lot of years' worth of test data there, and I only included stuff that's still relevant (i.e., the test were for things that don't change, or were done in the last 2-3 years, or I've had zero to little risk of exposure since my last test).

I should amend myself to say that I guess I have had Epstein-Barr, but so far as anyone knows, I don't have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) since my symptoms for sleep issues pre-date having mono (in 1989, when I was 19, and I had a pretty bad case - a week in my room, a week in the health center, a week at home, then back to school - but not as bad as it could have been). However, my current symptoms are much more like what people describe with CFS than they have ever been before.

People keep asking, in a helpful way, whether I've tested for this or that when I complain about my sleep issues. So the purpose of the list was to be informative and also help me keep track (I spent quite a while remembering all of that stuff).

I have not in fact tried testing for a yeast allergy (that would suck). Nor have I been tested for lyme, MS, or Lupus. Guess I better add them to the list. It's about time for my annual anyway.
