yes! two peope close to me!

USA, Ecuador, Deutschland (sort of), and, of course, Italia.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
the orange dress is lucky.

symbols, connections and hidden meanings in old art!

happier or sadder? way happier! way!

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
alla casa di la mia nonna!

21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Die Grosse Stille, a documentary about monks who have taken a vow of silence.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
everybody hatin' on catholocism. especially the open-minded people.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
krissy and betty at the convent

Part Two

1.) Where did you ring in 2006?
at a little cafe in vermont with dani and kristin. we skiied the day before or after.

3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
yes!

6.) Did you ever encounter the police?
yes!

8.) What did you purchase that was over $500?
transportation

11.) Have you ran into anybody you graduated high school with?
SO awkward!

13.) What sporting events did you go to?
my little cousin lindsey's state track meet: she came in SECOND out of like 500 girls!

14.) What concerts did you go to?
as far as i can remember, they were all in churches. In Orvieto, there was an orchestra in my convent's church; an orchestra in the Duomo where a priest behind me could NOT keep his mouth shut; a chorus for Easter in the Duomo where they opened the BIG doors at the back, which is kind of a big deal. In Firenze, there was an outdoor chorus next to Firenze's Duomo and a women's choir inside a little church on a side street I happened by. When I visited Betty and Patti and Kristine and Robert in Pennsylvania, we saw some dude. Then at home, last week, I went to Handel's Messiah at the church in my town.

19.) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
stonecarving!
