With a haircut this afternoon and a class this morning (and with my hair being a fuzzball of dramatic proportions), I decided today to be eccentric. Yeah, sure, I know wearing pajamas to class is the norm in many other schools, but this is Dowling we're talking about: a 95% commuter school brimming with do-rags, valor outfits... HOT PINK valor outfits... and barely any deviation from such trends.
Needless to say, it's quite out of the ordinary to find some tall guy with extremely puffed-out hair (it would blossom into a full-blown afro if I let it grow for a few more months), a t-shirt with a large illustration of a squirrel in a forest, and a white label with the word "FUZZY" written on it in magic marker.
Oh yes.
Strangely, most people paid no mind to my hair, which had been both 1) combed and brushed into extreme puffiness, and 2) blown by the wind as I drove 40 minutes to class (to further ensure fantastic fuzz). Rather, they were more curious as to why I had "FUZZY" on my shirt... and why I was so fond of squirrels.
(I tried to take some pictures with my digital camera so you'd have a better idea of the size of my hair and the strangeness of my shirt but, alas, its battery would not last for even one shot.)
