Whatever happened to Shakira?

I've been having car problems a-plenty as of late. Coupled with the vacation mechanics problem... it's-a no good.

First, there's the ambiguous check engine light. I don't think I really need to elaborate on how it mocks me.

Then there's my tailpipe, which fell off on William Floyd following a horrible death cry and my swerving to the shoulder

Also, Shakira is still super-famous in the Latin market, but she's been eclipsed by a semi-lookalike, Paulina Rubio. (Google-photo her.)
She hosted the Latin MTV VMA's, and at one point her dress flew open, revaling her butt ina g-string. Yeah, she's on the fast track to fame.
