A quick one-question survey
Who're your favorite artists / photographers?
(And I mean art artists, not music artists)
The reason I'm asking is because art's been on my mind recently... last night, I watched a quick (46 min.) BBC documentary on Jackson Pollock and started to understand better why his work is so appreciated.
And then today: while in between classes, I stumbled across a book on Keith Haring and found myself completely entranced by him (his work, his message, his story).
I'm also very fond of Anton Corbijn and David Wojnarowicz, although I've yet to pronounce their last names correctly.
Norman Rockwell has been a favorite of mine since I was little.
[EDIT: Also, I love Patrick McDonnell's work :-D]
