Today was my last day at work. This job has been awesome and challenging - everyone has been supportive of me, which has truly been invaluable. My co-workers and colleagues have been buying me meals, bringing me gifts and flowers, and lending words of support and kindness.
I was supposed to have an interview for a job next week, but my interviewer told me today that the responsibilities of the position will be incorporated into the work of one of their current employees. However! The interviewer, who knows my family from church (oddly!), offered to still meet with me to try to connect me with others at his institution and around the city. Plus, he's taking me out to lunch! Not bad, eh? Pretty unusual. So, we'll see....
Moving this Sunday. Philly, here I come (again).
