If you ever want to have a really entertaining experience you should take a 29 year old guy from Chile on his first ever trip to a super market. He said that his mom always does the shopping and he never goes with her. It was like shopping with a 5 year old because he got so excited that he could buy potato chips and no one was going to stop him.

The scene at the checkout was also equally hilarious:
Cashier: Paper or plastic?
Me: Plastic?? (looking at Mario)
Mario: No, paper.
Me: Okay, paper.
Mario to me: I need change.
Me: *laugh* she meant what type of bag.
Mario: ohhhhhhhh.

So then he gets all check out and then I am checking out.
Mario: So in America do I give tip to bag boy?
Me: Ummmm... no.
Mario: Oh. In South America we always tip them.
Me: Well, I guess you can if you want to. It would probably make his day.

So then we get to the car and he is balancing his three paper bags and trying to get them in the trunk.
Mario: I think plastic would have been... smarter.
Me: yeah...

It is so funny hanging out with him because I speak no Spanish at all and his English is good but he just needs to work on his confidence that it is good.
