Facebook Fail
So I have this friend named Crystal. We worked on our marketing project together last semester so we got to be pretty good friends. She's married so we don't hang out that much but on campus we are together often. I'm always joking around with her about how she needs to find me a lover. So yesterday she was at work at the MTC and we were chatting about this via g-chat. She asked what my qualifications were and I said at least as tall as me and just the nicest person you know. A few minutes later I mentioned that an interest in cars and sports would be nice as well because I seem to become friends with boys who either hate sports or who could care less about them. Then she says, "Well, I asked Alex here and he said that he's not THAT into sports." I told her it wasn't a major qualification so she could set me up anyway. Then she just went right to work. If you know me you can pretty much guess what I was doing at this very moment - FACEBOOK STALKING. And this is what I found:
She has 6 friends named Alex. SOOOOOOO not fair. So then we are chatting more and she asks if I want to facebook stalk him before she really makes it happen. So she tells me his last name is Rey. Yeah... the boy does not have one single picture on facebook. Facebook fail!
So the long and the short of it is that I am going on a blind date on Saturday night to eat Japanese food and see Avatar. This is the description I have of him, "he's 6' even. corny, dorky and borderline shy. Served his mission in Japan and pretty on top of things it seems, though that could totally just be a first impression." I am excited!
