grammar debate
So I'm working on my marketing plan right now and we were just having this debate about whether we should write The Pocket Foundation or the Pocket Foundation. I was asking my cousin which way I should write it and he said that if you normally say THE in front of the name then you should capitalize it. Then he said, "like you wouldn't say I'm going to The Costco or I'm talking to you on The Facebook, right?" I just started laughing because I put THE in front of everything and he pointed out the instance when people catch it most. Why wouldn't you say, "I'm talking to you on THE Facebook."???? It seems perfectly natural to me.
