Scary Movies, anyone?

Because I'm bored, and because it's that time of year, I am going to blab on about my favorite scary movies. Feel free to skip. Not that I am a scary movie connoisseur by any means, but I've watched quite a few. Especially since Mr. Kizzy is in Iraq... silly man can't abide the horror films, LOL! Note that my definition of scary does most ( Read more... )

*waves* So everyday I think... I should write Kizzy and see how she's doing!!! But RL always gets in my way. Bah!!!! So, how are you doing?! :)

BTW: Yes, my hubby is Army, though right now he's working for his Army National Guard unit so he's not full time. Which is nice. He does fly helicopters. Sexy blackhawk pilot is sexy! :) Is your hubby an AF pilot?

As for the movies... I don't watch many scary movies. I pretty much laugh my way through movies and my hubby is a bit of a horror movie wuss... lights have to be on, feet tucked firmly under a blanket, that sort of thing (go figure!). In fact, we had to watch the movie White Noise with the sound off. Um... it's called White NOISE. What's the point in watching with the sound off!? :D

Enjoy your scary movie fest!!!! You are brave to watch them alone! Do you sleep with the lights on!?! :D

TinyT makes lots of comments. :)

I've been to Amity! Saw the house before they demolished it. Now it's a grassy lot. Not because of ghosts, they say, but to stop the tourists (and cars stuffed full of out-of-state hyperactive teenagers) from coming.

TinyT does!!! :D TinyT should shut up! Tiny T has a hubby who's been gone for a week and has pretty much been conversing primarily with 2, 4, and 7 year olds. :D

*waves at Lula* You've been there?! Was it teh creepy!?!?!

It was decidedly not creepy. It was boring and suburban, LOL! We tried to freak ourselves out, but it wasn't happening.

The book, however? Lives in my basement. It is not allowed to come upstairs. Scariest book ever.

Ooooo. There's a book?! Is it the movie version of the book or based on the "actual" incident!??

It's the actual events that happened to the family. The original movie isn't too far off, but the book is way scarier. I would definitely read it. It's very short, actually.

AT least you're conversing with people!!

My current conversational partner is my computer. And the television. And the refrigerator. And the tea kettle, when it whistles, it's almost like its talking back.

Kizzy needs a pet!!!! Do you have pets?! May I recommend a pug dog? :)

Nope, no pets currently.

I've watched my friend's pug before oh she was so sweet. Hubby, however, also is somewhat afraid of animals. He gets skittish, doesn't know what to do, hehe. Wonder what he'd do if I just bought one.

What pugs lack in brainpower they make up for in enthusiasm. Yes, go get yourself a ... fish maybe... low maintenance. :) And it'll probably be dead by the time he gets home. Wow, Depressing. Way to go Tiny.

No, he's not a pilot, but a 'developmental engineer.' OMG I remember watching Poltergeist when I was a kid and it freaked me out.

I'm good. Except horribly bored. Bored.

Hehe, you're funny. Ummm, yes, I do watch them all alone (I have to. Mr. K is too scared to watch horror movies, and I am somewhat addicted. Oh, he's adorable. Like once, we wanted to go to the movies, but got in a debate. I wanted to go see 'No Country For Old Men,' and he wanted to go see '27 Dresses.' BWAHAHAHA!

(but don't tell him I told you.)

Sometimes though I end up scaring myself. Especially since for some reason my back screendoor won't shut all the way and bangs bangs through the night. Creepy.
