(no subject)
Well I'm home for the long, long weekend. very lonely to tell the truth.. at least at Players Lane Meg is always awake and I know where everyone else is. Here my mom and sister are asleep super early and I'm bored and awake.
I miss my guy friends. They're all graduated, far away, with girlfriends, living their lives. I miss them all.
So random but sorta amazing news.. I have a job at the Office of Communications at IWU which means that anything posted on the IWU website, anything IWU sends to the media, and pretty much all IWU publications go thru our office. So I wrote a story about how Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was in the town of Philo, Illinois and how many of the IWU students including a girl I know, Bevin, and one of my KD sisters, Amanda were over there helping out. Amanda then decided to start a food/clothing drive at KD to help out and wants to continue this for the next few years. Well I guess Kappa Delta nationals caught wind of my article and posted it on their national twitter!! ahh! I mean ok a lil cheezy cuz its twitter but its something that I plan to put in my portfolio and its nice to know that there is potential that any of my over 200,000 sisters is reading it :)
