Why does life treat me so?

Hey all.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday :) It was awesome, yo~

Last night, at judo, I don't really know WHAT happened, but we were doing some exercises (squats, etc.) and all of a sudden I couldn't bend my knee without it hurting. (Right) I iced it and even went to the doctor today. So, we find out that my cartelidge(sp?) is damaged, and I have to stay away from judo, etc. for two weeks. Sucks, 'cause no matter what I do, it hurts.

Not as bad as my friend though. Saturday we had a tournament, and he broke his hip. Happy, huh? Apparently, he had a cyst, and it was making his bone weak. And then, of course, he broke it. So, he'll be back up and walking in about 6 weeks, and back to judo in 4 months. Worse than me.

And being that little pessimist I am, not intentionally (obviously), my mind keeps replaying the fact that there is a possibility that we can never go back to absolute normal. That friend of mine is only a year older than me, so he's not in any better condition than I am. And we both love judo, so it'd really hurt if we couldn't do it as we used it. It'd hurt a lot. I mean, I'd cry. It's THAT sad. But, hey, we're hoping for the best, right? I can't surpress that fact that I'm scared, but if we heal quick enough, we hope that it'll all be good.
So, if you guys can just keep us in your hearts, and all. Just, you know, help us keep positive and our hopes up. It'll be all right. Thanks. For both of us. =]

BTW, sorry I haven't been on in like forever. Been busy, and stuff. Plus LJ was never nice to me to begin with. lol.

Thanks again.

P.S.: Oh yeah, we have a dance tomorrow for our judo club. lol The two of us are on crutches, so we're going to be crutch-dancing LOL.
