Jin and Ryo’s eyes widened. They couldn’t believe what they had just heard.

“Granny,” Jin was the first one to speak up, in a whining tone. “You can’t be serious.”

“You can’t do that,” Ryo complained as well.

“Hush!” the old woman ordered. “It’s all my fault. I’ve spoiled the two of you way too much. Now you’re already 25 and yet, you haven’t accomplished anything in your lives.”

“But Granny-” Jin started. However, his grandmother interrupted him, preventing him from continuing with his wailing.

“The only things you two are thinking about are drinking, spending money, going out with friends and partying,” Akanishi Reiko accused deprecatingly. “And as if it wasn’t enough, you always make the headlines because of your irresponsible attitude. You two are the shame of our family.”

Jin got closer to his grandmother and sat next to her on the couch. He took her hands in his and gave her a wide smile. “Don’t be like that, Granny,” he said in a sweet tone.

“It won’t work this time, Jin,” Reiko informed as she removed her hands from her grandson’s grip. “I won’t fall for your sweet talk. I’ve already made my decision. And if you don’t listen to me, I’ll cut off your allowance. And don’t expect to receive a penny from me, even after my death!”

Jin kept on smiling brightly. “What are you talking about, Granny?” He asked. “You’re still so young and beautiful.”

The woman glared at her grandson, knowing exactly what he was trying to do. A few days ago, she would have fallen for those words and this smile. But today, she was determined to keep strong against her grandsons’ charms, especially Jin’s. It was time to change things!

“Jin is right, Granny,” Ryo supported. “You’re way too persistent and stubborn to die so easily, anyway.” That remark won a glare from Jin. “What?” Ryo asked.

“Don’t you care about being cut off everything?” Jin asked back.

“Don’t worry, Jin,” Ryo assured with a smug grin. “Granny loves us too much to take such actions.”

“Don’t be so sure about that,” Reiko said with a smirk that Jin and Ryo were witnessing for the first time, and surely, they didn’t like it. “Starting today, if you two don’t behave well, I’m not giving you even a cent. Another rumor and I’m closing you bank accounts and cancelling all of your credit cards. And I’m not joking,” she affirmed, firmly. “Don’t forget that I’m the one paying for your apartments. I suggest you to be very careful from now on.” Seeing that her two grandsons didn’t answer, she frowned. “Am I clear?”

“Yes, ma’am,” Jin and Ryo replied at that same time, taken aback by their grandmother’s unfamiliar strictness. Seeing the determination in her eyes, they had no doubt that her threats weren’t a joke.

“You two are old enough now,” the old woman continued. “You should really start thinking about your future instead of living such instable lives, only depending on your family’s money. At your age, I was already married and had children.”

“Because Granny is such a beautiful woman,” Jin said in an attempt to stop her grandmother’s lecture. “I bet men were fighting to court you,” he added with a wink.

Reiko felt pleased by Jin’s words. “Silly boy,” she told him before realizing that she almost fell for her grandson’s words. Jin was dangerous. She had to be careful or else things would go on the way it was and she absolutely didn’t want that. “Anyways,” Reiko pulled herself together. “I want the two of you to settle and start building a family.”

“You can’t be serious, Granny,” Ryo was the first one to complain this time.

“I don’t want to hear anything else,” Reiko scolded, using the stricter tone she could to ensure that her grandsons wouldn’t make light of her threats. “Now go and find something to do with your lives,” she ordered dismissively.

Only one question was occupying their minds as the two men realized their grandmother’s seriousness. What were they going to do now?

Akanishi Jin and Nishikido Ryo were famous names in the business world, and probably in the whole country. Even though they weren’t idols or didn’t even have jobs, they were followed by paparazzi, who were constantly trying to find out the slightest scoop about them as if they were international celebrities. Well, they were considerate as celebrities. The reason? Their family.

Akanishi Satoshi was the founder of the renowned Akanishi Hotels, an international chain of full-service hotels. It all started when Satoshi had decided to purchase a 30-rooms small hotel in Tokyo. At the beginning, the man was satisfied with this but with the support of his wife, Akanishi Reiko, as well as his entrepreneurial skills, he went on to buy hotels throughout the city. In no time, his name became famous and he then built his first hotel outside of Tokyo. That marked the start of the expansion of his hotels in the whole Japan, and Satoshi formed then the Akanishi Hotels Corporation. However, after fighting for a few years against a cancer, Satoshi finally lost the battle and died at the age of 58 only.

That was when his son, Akanishi Keiichi succeeded to his father at a very young age, helped by his older sister, Akanishi Keiko. They struggled a lot to maintain the company and eventually managed. Two years later, Keiko got married to Nishikido Eiji and the later joined Keiichi as the vice president of Akanishi Hotels Corporation. It was like a breath of fresh wind for the company, and with the two men’s efforts, the worldwide expansion followed after a few years, making Akanishi an unavoidable name in the world hotel industry.

Jin and Ryo were therefore heirs of the family’s fortune and women were lining up, hoping that they could meet them or even dreaming that they could marry one of them. After all, they weren’t only millionaires but they also were very handsome and attractive. The dream of any woman, indeed! But the two cousins weren’t the types to be involved in a serious relationship, only collecting one night stands. Everyone who knew about them was well aware of their reputations and the coldness of their hearts, which strangely seemed to attract women even more. In the end, who wouldn’t want to be the one able to melt their icy hearts?

But till now, no one had succeeded in such a mission. For sure, Jin and Ryo had broken countless hearts. They were known as players and often made the headlines, each time with a different woman. But the two didn’t really care. They were used to a life with money flowing, having fun every night, drinking and partying, and not caring about anything else. Their parents had tried everything they could to change their sons’ behaviors but nothing had worked so they had given up on them and settled on their siblings instead to take over the company. After all, leaving the succession to Ryo and Jin, even though the two were the eldest children, would definitely lead the company to its downfall.

When Akanishi Reiko had heard about Keiichi and Eijo’s decision, she had gotten very mad, though not at them. She could understand the two men. They were only thinking about the future of the family’s company, preserving her late husband’s hard work. Yet, she couldn’t accept that so easily. Jin and Ryo had always been her favorites after all, especially Jin. She had hoped that the two men would get tired of their instable lives and finally show some interests for the company. But unfortunately, it wasn’t the case. And to make things worse, it seemed that they were making the headlines even more often recently, getting involved in more and more scandals with the passing days.

Sadly, Reiko knew she was the one to blame. Since they were her favorites, she had always pampered them and gave them everything they had asked for, spoiling them to the extremes. And the two, clearly aware of the power they had on her, had taken advantage of that. Yes, it was her fault. And that was why she had to take things in hands now. Even if the two didn’t take over the company, they couldn’t keep on behaving that way and tarnish the family’s reputation. They couldn’t keep on depending on their parents’ money. Reiko had to make sure that Jin and Ryo would become responsible men, get married and build their own families, and this, as soon as possible, thus the threats. She won’t tolerate any more misstep!

Jin let out a sigh for the umpteenth time since he left his grandmother’s place.

“Will you stop with the endless sighing?” Ryo requested, getting annoyed by his cousin. They only came back to Jin’s flat 30 minutes ago and the guy had sighed at least a hundred times since then. “And stop walking back and forth the place! You’re making me feel giddy.”

Jin sighed once again, making Ryo clicked his tongue in annoyance, before he slouched on the couch, next to his cousin. “What’s with Granny suddenly?” Jin whined. “She’d never acted like that before.”

“She’s probably fed up with your attitude,” Ryo remarked.

“And you’re the one talking,” Jin rebuked.

“Well, at least I can restrain myself,” Ryo assured.

“I can too!”

“You?” Ryo exclaimed amused. “Don’t make me laugh. You pounce on anything that moves!”

“Wrong,” Jin denied with a smirk. “I’m only interested in beautiful woman,” he corrected. “But that’s not the point! You’re no better. I’m not the only one making the headlines here.”

“That’s what you call solidarity, man,” Ryo affirmed.

Jin quirked his brows. “Don’t try to put all the blame on me, Ryo. You’re as guilty as I am.”

Ryo only shrugged. “Anyways, don’t worry too much,” he reassured. “We just have to keep profile low for a little while, until Granny get over that idea.”

“What if she doesn’t?” Jin questioned.

Ryo grinned. “Are you afraid that you won’t be able to restrain yourself?”

“I’m not,” Jin denied once again. “I’m more worried about you. You’re a scandal magnet.”

“Only when you’re around,” Ryo insisted. “You know what? Let’s bet on it!”

“I’m all ears,” Jin replied clearly interested.

“My bike against your flat,” Ryo informed.

Jin took a few seconds to think about it. He had bought this flat 3 years ago. It was his grandmother’s present for his graduation from University. Jin had visited countless apartments and it had taken such a long time to find one to his liking. But the moment he had entered this one, he had known it was the perfect one. It might be stupid to feel that way for an apartment but he really loved his place, so much that only a few people were allowed here, that is his closest friends and his family.

But then, there was Ryo’s motorcycle. It was an ‘Apache Warrior V-Twin’ manufactured in 1995, a classic and vintage bike which wasn’t produced anymore. Jin still didn’t know how his cousin managed to obtain one a year ago and he had been green in envy. He still was. After all, he had himself tried to find one for so long but there weren’t any on sale anymore. And now, Ryo was offering it as a prize of a bet? Even though Jin knew how much Ryo liked his flat, he wouldn’t give such a precious, expensive and rare bike so easily. Ryo was probably confident that he would win, and surely, Jin didn’t like it.

“What are the terms?”

“Granny wants us to go steady with someone and build a family, right?” Ryo explained and received a nod from Jin. “Let’s give her what she wants.”

“What?” Jin exclaimed slightly shocked. “Are you serious?”

“As serious as a heart attack,” Ryo confirmed.

“I refuse!”

Ryo laughed briefly. “I’m not telling you to get married, Jin,” he clarified. “If we stop making headlines with different women, Granny will probably think that we found someone. Let’s just see who will be able to stay out of any scandal for the longest time.”

“In short, we just have to stop hanging around with women, right?”

“Can you do that?” Ryo asked doubtfully.

“It’s a piece of cake,” Jin affirmed.

Ryo grinned more. “I wonder how long you can last without sex.”

“Longer than you, that’s for sure,” Jin insisted.

“Remember that you have to stay out of any kind of scandal, even if it’s not related to a woman” Ryo reminded. “That includes anything that would go against Granny’s desire. So you can go out with a girl as long as you’re thinking of dating her properly.”

Jin frowned. “That’s too easy,” he said. “You can find someone to satisfy your needs and throw her away as soon as we’re done with the bet.”

“True,” Ryo agreed. “Okay, then no scandal, no dating and no sex!”

“I’m in,” Jin said without hesitation.

“You seem confident,” Ryo noticed.

“I am,” Jin admitted. “You’ll definitely give in before me, Ryo.”

Ryo frowned at the determination shining in Jin’s eyes. Maybe he had miscalculated something. He knew that his willpower was stronger than Jin. But considering how much his cousin wanted his bike, maybe the guy would manage to resist longer. But Ryo couldn’t allow himself to lose the bet. He had to do something to assure his victory but he already got the perfect idea and his lips curled into a smirk. “We’ll see about that,” he whispered to himself while Jin stood up and headed towards his room.

Ryo took out his cell phone, an evil grin still plastered on his face, and dialed a familiar number. “Up to a challenge?” was the first thing he asked when the person on the other side of the line answered. And Ryo’s smirk grew wider when the reply came right away, without hesitation.

“Always!”

A mischievous grin braced Kazuya’s lips when he finally spotted him. Very handsome, he thought and licked his lower lip in anticipation. Luckily, the guy was alone, though it was quite surprising. That wasn’t a sigh people often got to see, this particular famous man drinking in a bar without even one woman around him. And the strangest thing was that he didn’t even seem to be searching for one. Well, Kazuya wouldn’t complain. He had waited for this day for so long, the day he would finally meet him, so he wasn’t going to let this opportunity slip.

Kazuya headed towards the bar where the other man was sitting, seemingly very focused on his red wine, and stopped not too far from him. “Can I have a glass of cold water?” He addressed the bartender, not minding the strange stare he got in return.

Jin looked up from his drink and turned to see who the weird man who ordered water in a bar was. It wasn’t everyday that something like that happened and in Jin’s opinion, the guy was really odd. When you were in a bar, you ought to drink alcohol. Why coming all the way to a bar to drink water? But when his eyes fell upon the guy he had already categorized as weird, he felt his heart speed up slightly. The ‘weirdo’ was looking at him with a piercing gaze and a mischievous grin was adorning his pretty features. No, the word pretty didn’t do any justice to his beauty. The man was gorgeous. Jin didn’t know if it was because of the deep brown eyes or the slight parted lips that felt really tempting in his opinion, but he felt hypnotized. Or maybe it was because of the alcohol. He drank quite a bit after all. Yes, that must be the reason. Why would Jin felt even the slightest attraction towards a man, as pretty as he could be, if it wasn’t for the alcohol?

Jin shook his head and finally managed to detach his eyes from the stranger. He brought his glass to his lips and drank his red wine, letting out a silent groan of satisfaction when the intoxicating liquid ran down his throat. However, his attention returned unwittingly to the young man in his left when he heard the mellifluous voice thanking the bartender. And that was a mistake. Now, for sure, he wouldn’t be able to tear his eyes away from the sigh in front of him. The pretty man was only drinking a long sip from his glass, however Jin couldn’t help but imagine the liquid flowing in his tongue and he gasped when a drop of water escaped from the parted lips and ran slowly, in a teasing way, from his chin to his neck. Jin hardly resisted the urge to let his own tongue followed the same path. Someone drinking a sip of water should certainly not arouse him to that extent, even less when that someone was a man.

Yet, Jin found himself craving for those pouty lips. The temptation was too hard to resist and as if he had no control on his body anymore, his hand reached for the man’s arm and pulled on it, making the slender body crash into his chest. Jin’s stomach twisted and his heart felt like it was about to burst the closer the pretty stranger was getting to him. Still, they weren’t close enough in his opinion. So Jin spread his legs a little to allow the guy to squeeze up further against him, still feeling that he could never be close enough, before wrapping his arms around the thin waist, in a tender but possessive gesture.

One thing for sure, Kazuya hadn’t expected to find himself in Jin’s arms. The man had totally caught him unaware. But who was he to complain when only the proximity was enough to raise those exquisite sensations in him? His heart was racing and he could feel a strong desire growing in him. But Kazuya wanted more. He wanted to taste those plump lips, to feel them on his body. He needed it, desperately. So Kazuya closed his hands around the older’s neck and boldly leaned in to kiss him sweetly.

Jin’s mind wasn’t working anymore and his body wasn’t listening to him, driven by a force that he couldn’t defeat. But did he really want to defeat it? The answer was found the moment the other’s lips were pressed on his. He wasn’t even sure if he had been the one who had closed the gap between them or if it was the other guy who had initiated the action. Not that it really mattered. All he could think about at that moment were those lips and how delicious they tasted. He didn’t waste a second to take control of the kiss and invaded the tempting mouth. The contact of his tongue with the other’s sparked in him a succession of intense sensations and he could feel a flow of torrid emotions overwhelm him when the passionate kiss drew a sensual moan from the gorgeous guy.

The kiss became more urgent, more demanding, and with a formidable efficiency, Jin took over Kazuya’s mouth fully. Kame felt his knees go weak as the other kept on with his delicious torture, preventing him from thinking rationally. He quivered when Jin lowered his hands on his buttocks, pressing their body harder against each other and thus allowing Kazuya to feel the other’s hardened member on his bully. The taste of Jin’s lips, mixed with the flavor of wine, was enough to make him dizzy and Kazuya felt captivated by a violent, yet inexplicable, desire.

When Jin finally tore away from the guy, the two were out of breath. But he didn’t let go, keeping him in the comfort of his arms, as he pressed his lips at the corner of the other’s lower lip. He licked on the silky skin and let his tongue travel down slowly, the same path the drop of water had traveled a few minutes ago. Jin then covered the pretty man’s neck with kisses before claiming his lips once again in another fiery kiss. He wrapped their tongue together and kissed him again and again, with tenderness, yet with passion, but without haste, taking his time to make the two of them mad with desire.

Kazuya had lost all senses of time and space. All he could hear were the sounds of their mouths devouring each other’s, the moans and pants slipping from their throats and his own racing heart. All he could feel were Jin’s hands, Jin’s lips, Jin’s body. Everything about the man was stimulating his senses. When Jin removed his mouth from his, Kazuya remained nestled against him, drained of all his energy and struggling to regain his senses. In 23 years, no one had kissed him that way, ever.

The two men stayed silent, taking time to recover their breaths and slowly realizing what had just happened. None of them let go of the other, not minding the people around or even the stares they might have attracted, as if they didn’t want to break that moment and lose those inexplicable but blissful feelings that had invaded them. Nothing made sense, yet everything felt so right at the moment, until a loud ringing finally brought the two guys back to reality.

Kazuya broke away from Jin’s embrace and swallowed nervously as their gaze met. He could see the lust shining in the other’s eyes, and he was certain that his were reflecting the same desire. Even though he had regained his breath, he couldn’t seem to calm the fast beating of his heart. He watched as Jin took his cell phone out of his pocket and answered the device, without removing his gaze from him. Kazuya turned away from those piercing eyes and drank the rest of his cold water, trying to cool himself down, literally. Then without a glance behind, he rushed towards the exit. He needed to get out from here, from him, in order to fully regain his senses and order his thoughts.

Jin frowned. He had only looked away for a few seconds, the time to sip on his drink, also feeling the need to cool down, and the pretty stranger had been nowhere to be found anymore. He didn’t even know his name. He sighed and tried to focus his attention on his friend’s rambling, wondering the whole time why the hell he had answered the call.

***

He was to die for. Jin held his breath and a smile graced his face. Yes, divine, the dream of every man in this planet. Overwhelming! Just a look at him and Jin could feel a violent adrenaline rush run through his whole body. He barely managed to breathe. Jin took his time, admiring every line, every curve of his body, the body of a God. Slender, perfectly shaped, with what it took where it was needed. The temptation personified. Jin only had one thing in mind, to take him, take him and lead him in the most fantastic ride of his lifetime, and undoubtedly his own as well. Jin felt a familiar and characteristic tingling in the pit of his stomach and stretched out his hand, running his fingers over the perfect body, daintily. Jin knew that he was waiting for him, that he wanted only him. And Jin also only wanted him.

“Jin,” a voice called. “It’s been half and an hour that you’ve been drooling over my bike.”

Jin’s smile vanished but he didn’t remove his eyes from him, his soon-to-be motorcycle. “My future bike,” he corrected, without even glancing at his cousin.

“Dream on,” Ryo retorted. “Anyways, let’s go already. I’m starving.”

Jin nodded and spared a last glance at his very-soon-to-be bike with a satisfied smile before following his cousin outside the parking lot.

***

Jin looked at the waitress with amusement. She had this look that spoke volumes as she was openly flirting with him, smiling sweetly, bending forward to showcase her breast. She kept on licking her lips and sending him highly suggestive glances each time their gaze crossed and was taking any opportunity she could get to make contact with him. She totally was Jin’s type with long black hair tied into a ponytail, a beautiful face and a slender body that it was actually impossible to forget. Yet, Jin didn’t feel any interest like he usually did. And it wasn’t because of the bet. The problem was that the woman in front of him, even though she was a hot beauty, wasn’t affecting him at all, when it had only been enough for a pretty stranger to drink a sip of water to arouse him.

Jin let out a sigh. What was wrong with him? It had been a week already since his meeting with the gorgeous guy at the bar, and he still couldn’t get him out of his mind. And the worst was that he hadn’t felt attracted to any girl since that evening. He would even found himself comparing all the women who came near him with the stranger. Jin really was upset. He couldn’t believe someone could awaken those kinds of sensations in him. And to think that this someone was a man! What the hell was wrong with him? What kind of spell did that stranger, as gorgeous as he was, cast on him? Jin wanted to believe that it was the alcohol that had enhanced those sensations but he couldn’t delude himself. The fact was that those images of the pretty man with tousled hair, cheeks slightly flushed, red swollen red lips and desire shining in his eyes, wouldn’t get out of Jin’s mind, getting him excited each and every time.

“What’s wrong, man?” Ryo asked, halting Jin’s train of thoughts. “You’ve been acting strange recently.”

Jin only shrugged as an answer before taking a sip of his dark coffee. He couldn’t really tell his cousin that a pretty stranger had been occupying his thoughts for the past week and that this stranger was actually a man that he was dying to make his. Jin shook his head vehemently as this thought was crossing his mind. What the hell was he thinking about? Why would he want to make a man his? What kind of nonsense was it? He was straight, for God’s sake. He loved women and women loved him! But then, why hadn’t he been feeling desire for any woman since he had met that guy?

“You need to get laid,” Ryo remarked earning a surprised look from Jin.

Was Ryo reading his mind? His cousin actually answered his question and it was making total sense. It definitely was the reason. After all, he hadn’t had sex for 12 days now. He really needed to get laid. He wished he could meet the guy again and reproduced with him those scenes he had dreamt about for the past…Wait! What was he thinking about again? Surely, he needed to get laid but not with a man! That should be out of question. Jin shook his head again and his gaze fell on the waitress. Then again, how was he supposed to do when he wasn’t even feeling arouse by such a hot chick? Ryo’s laugher brought Jin back from his thoughts.

“You’re totally sex-starved, man,” Ryo commented. “I should start packing my things and bid my goodbyes to my flat.”

“The only person you’ll bid goodbye to is my soon-to-be bike,” Jin retorted.

Ryo laughed briefly. “Seriously man, it’s only a bike. It’s odd that you keep on addressing it as a person.”

“Only a bike?” Jin repeated bewildered. “You really don’t deserve to own him! Good thing he’ll be mine soon.”

“You sound gay,” Ryo teased.

“I’m not!” Jin snapped and Ryo laughed once again at his cousin’s overreaction, earning a snort from the other.

Jin ignored his friend and focused his attention on his coffee. He really wanted to own that motorcycle and he was confident he would win the bet. After all, he didn’t feel the desire to have sex with any woman around him at the moment and even less dating one. Restraining himself, and thus staying away from any scandal, would be a piece of cake. Jin had totally no doubt about that. Or at least, he didn’t a few seconds ago, before his gaze locked on the familiar figure that just entered the small café. He felt all the emotions the stranger had awakened in him the other day suddenly overwhelm him again, as if they had just shared those passionate kisses a few seconds ago. If he still had a doubt about it before, now he could tell for sure that the alcohol hadn’t enhanced anything.

Jin watched the guy who was scanning the room and his heart skipped a beat when a wide smile appeared on his lips as their eyes met. It was as if the man had been searching for him. He saw him walking towards him and stopping at his table. And, to his surprise, the guy started a conversation with Ryo. Jin was stunned. He hadn’t expected the man to appear so suddenly, and even less to know his cousin. Wait! Wasn’t it too much of a coincidence?

“You know each other?” Jin asked, interrupting a conversation that he hadn’t really been paying attention to.

“We met a few weeks ago,” Ryo explained. “He’s Pi’s new roommate.”

“Oh,” was the only sound Jin managed to utter. It was true that one of their closest friends, Yamashita Tomohisa, had changed roommate about two months ago, but Jin hadn’t got the chance to meet him, till now, or rather till a week ago. “I see.”

“So why are you here?” Ryo asked the new comer.

Kazuya smiled. “I came for him,” he admitted bluntly, earning surprised looks from the two other men before Ryo burst into a pearl of laughter.

“As direct as usual,” Ryo remarked. “Maybe I should leave you two alone.”

“Well, since you’re offering it yourself,” Kazuya replied.

Ryo laughed slightly once again as he stood up. “I’ll see you later,” he told Jin before heading out of the coffee shop, unable to contain his amusement.

Jin watched as the pretty stranger sat in the seat that had been occupied by Ryo a few seconds ago. Yes, it really felt too much of a coincidence, he thought and his brows quirked into a frown. There was something fishy. After all, Ryo hadn’t felt surprised that the man came for him. And the fact that the latter had known where to find Jin in the first place was enough to create doubt in his mind. Though, Jin had to admit that he had felt particularly pleased that the other was here to meet him.

“You’ll get wrinkles if you keep on frowning that way,” Kazuya remarked amused.

Jin shrugged and tried to stay alert. “Do you have a name?” He asked, attempting to sound as casual as he could, even though he was actually eager to know the pretty stranger’s name. That question won a chuckle from the other and Jin realized that he really loved to witness that beautiful sigh.

“Isn’t it everyone’s case?” Kazuya asked back tauntingly.

Jin smiled. “So what would be yours?”

“Kazuya,” the guy answered.

“It’s nice to meet you, Kazuya.”

“The pleasure is mine, Jin” Kazuya answered with an eloquent look.

Such an interesting guy, Jin thought, not really surprised that Kazuya already knew his name, and his lips stretched into a grin. “So, is there a particular reason why you wanted to see me?”

“Probably for the same reason you were hoping to meet me again,” Kazuya replied with a smug smile.

“Confident much?”

“Realistic.”

That won a brief laugher from Jin. “You’re an interesting guy.”

“I get that a lot,” Kazuya said.

Jin burst into another round of laugher. “So, since you seem to be the frank type,” he started after cooling down. “What about sharing with me your true intentions?” It was Kazuya’s turn to laugh heartedly and Jin found the sound quite hypnotizing.

“What about offering me a drink first?” Kazuya asked back with a sweet smile.

“Sure,” Jin agreed. “Would you like something else with it? The pastries here are delicious.”

“I wouldn’t have categorized you as a generous guy,” Kazuya remarked in a teasing tone.

“Since you don’t know me, why would you want to categorize me?”

Kazuya chuckled. “Who doesn’t know you?”

“If you base your impressions on those trashy tabloids, then I doubt you really know me,” Jin remarked.

“So, the Akanishi Jin painted by the media isn’t the real you?”

“It’s not,” Jin confirmed as he flashed a wide smile to the younger.

“I can hardly believe it.”

“Why?”

“Unfortunately, your reputation precedes you,” Kazuya reminded.

“Don’t believe everything you read,” Jin advised.

“I don’t,” Kazuya affirmed. “I believe what I see though. Or are all those pictures a lie as well?”

Jin’s smile didn’t alter. “Well, I’m a man after all. That doesn’t make me a bastard though.”

“I’ve never thought that you were one,” Kazuya assured to Jin’s contentment.

“I’m glad to hear that,” Jin replied. He spotted the waitress next to their table and called her, before mentioning to Kazuya to order whatever he wanted to. The younger complied, not missing the server’s vain attempts to attract Jin’s attention, which he watched with amusement. “So,” Jin spoke when they were left alone. “What are you and Ryo planning exactly?”

“You’re right,” was Kazuya’s retort, followed by another chuckle. “The press got it wrong about you.” Jin sent a questioning look, prompting Kazuya to clarify what he meant by that. “You don’t seem to be the handsome brainless player they keep on addressing you as.”

Jin smirked. “At least they got the handsome part right.”

“And the player one as well.”

“I guess I can’t really deny that fact,” Jin admitted.

“What about telling me more about you then?” Kazuya suggested. “The real you that is unknown by the press.”

“I guess I can do that,” Jin agreed with a smile. “But you’ll have to tell me more about you as well.”

“That sounds fair,” Kazuya smiled back.

They spent the next three hours, filled with talk and laughter, getting to know each other, not missing on teasing, insinuations and jokes. The more time he spent with Kazuya, the more Jin thought that the guy was very interesting, but also the more he felt attracted to him. He even found himself not caring that Kazuya was a guy. And that was dangerous. The gorgeous man embodied the temptation and Jin wasn’t sure he could resist. Yet, he had too. He had a bet going on after all, a bet that he couldn’t lose. Besides, Jin wasn’t stupid. He knew that Kazuya’s appearance wasn’t a coincidence and that Ryo had probably something to do with this. Though, he didn’t really care that much about that for now. He really enjoyed chatting with the younger and he actually hoped they would cross paths again and soon. Those were Jin’s thoughts when the two of them left the café and walked in opposite directions.

To say that Ryo was shocked was an understatement. He hadn’t expected Jin to restrain himself for so long and looked so confident about winning the bet. Ryo had actually feared that his cousin would indeed manage to restrain from having sex, and dating someone wasn’t even to be expected from the guy. So he only had the scandal part of the bet left to act on. That was why he had sent the prettiest guy he knew to seduce his cousin, hoping that at least one or two pictures would make the headlines, knowing that it would render their grandmother furious and thus, make him the winner of the bet. Such a scandal would have the strongest impact and therefore would end the bet right away.

However, Ryo hadn’t expected that. It had been a few days since Kazuya had joined them in the coffee shop and it seemed that the two hadn’t met since then, until today. Well, that wasn’t something surprising. The shocking part was what he was witnessing right now. Ryo had been hanging at his cousin’s apartment this afternoon, as he often did, when Jin came back with no one other than Kazuya. It seemed that they had met by chance and Jin had agreed to bring the younger to his place. Though, Kazuya had apparently been the one asking since they needed to find a place to shelter from the heavy rain and Jin’s place was quite close. But the fact was that Jin agreed. And that was a shock. Because Jin never agreed to bring people in his place when they weren’t close friends or family. And, wasn’t Kazuya someone he had only met thrice, today being the third time?

It seemed that Jin was actually falling under the younger man’s charms, which Ryo hadn’t expected to happen. Not that it really mattered. After all, it was even better. Indeed, even if Ryo’s plan wasn’t going the way he had wanted to and the scandal he had expected wouldn’t arise, the bet still included no dating and no sex. It hadn’t been what he had expected in the beginning, but seeing how things were doing, Ryo was quite confident that he would win the bet, and it might happen very soon.

“So, how are things going?” Ryo asked Kazuya. After the two had come soaked to the skin, Jin had lent clothes to the younger and let him take a shower first before he had taken his turn, when Kazuya had been done with his. Ryo took advantage of Jin’s absence to get more information from Kazuya.

“About?”

“Your task.”

“My task?” Kazuya laughed briefly. “You’re making it sound like I’m on mission or something.”

“Well, that’s not that far from the truth,” Ryo muttered.

Kazuya raised a brow. “Care to explain?” Ryo sent his friend an innocent smile as an answer. “You know?” Kazuya spoke. “Jin isn’t stupid.”

“Are we talking about the same Jin?”

“Okay, let me rephrase this,” Kazuya replied. “Jin isn’t as stupid as you think.”

“It still doesn’t sound right,” Ryo remarked.

“So?” Kazuya prompted.

“So,” Ryo repeated and paused as he stood up. “I think I shall go now,” he informed and headed towards the entrance. “Enjoy,” he wished before leaving the flat.

Kazuya rolled his eyes. Ryo was so obvious. But well, Kazuya wouldn’t complain since now he was left alone with Jin, and that surely was something he was really looking forward to.

The moment Jin had found himself alone in the shower, he had started pondering and realized that he might have made a huge mistake by bringing Kazuya here. Under normal circumstances, he would have brought the person with whom he was, if that person wasn’t a close friend, to one of his father’s hotel instead. And the truth was that, from where they were, it would have been closer than coming all the way to his flat. But when Kazuya had requested to go to his apartment, Jin couldn’t have helped it and had agreed without second thoughts. He just had felt that it was how it should be, maybe because he was expecting Kazuya to become his friend.

But that was when Jin finished changing and joined the living room that he had known for sure that indeed, he had made a mistake. As he noticed that Ryo was nowhere to be found, and having a slight idea about his cousin’s plan, Jin figured that the guy had most certainly left, which meant that Jin was left alone with Kazuya. And as if it wasn’t already nerve wracking enough, since he had to try his best to suppress the strong desire he felt for the guy, Kazuya was actually very sexy at the moment, wearing Jin’s clothes. Actually, even though he might have found something more fit for the younger in his wardrobe, Jin had chosen large clothes, expecting that they would hide the other’s body and thus, help him to resist the temptation. But he had been oh so wrong. Then again, who would have expected Kazuya to be even more tempting dressed like this? The now dried but untidy hair with the big shirt, actually so large that it was teasingly revealing a slight part of his shoulder, made it feel like the guy just got out of bed, and surely that was an exciting sight.

“You’re done,” Kazuya remarked when he noticed that Jin was now in the living room, and that brought the older back from his pondering.

Jin took a deep breath before heading towards the farthest seat from the younger, which was the settee at the right side of the couch, while Kazuya was settled on the couch, in the left side.

Jin noticed the younger’s amused gaze on him. “What? This is my favorite chair,” he defended.

Kazuya was clearly unconvinced. “Is that so?”

Jin nodded. “Anyways,” he started, in an obvious attempt to change the topic. “You still didn’t tell me about Ryo’s intentions.”

“I don’t know about Ryo,” Kazuya admitted as he slid on the right side of the couch. “But I can tell you about ours.”

Jin raised a brow. “Ours?”

Kazuya smirked before nodding. “Our plan.”

“And what makes you think that I will follow it?”

“A hunch?”

“Would you mind telling me more about this plan?” Jin requested.

“I can even show you more, Jin,” Kazuya suggested sensuously.

He had spoken in a hoarse voice, while his cheeky eyes fell upon the older’s lips. And an image suddenly assailed Jin; Kazuya’s mouth against his, his own tongue making its way to the younger’s neck, and… Jin, not liking the turn his thoughts were taking, looked away and took a deep breath. But that only helped for a few seconds until Kazuya settled on his laps making his heart beat unsteadily.

“Instead of wasting time talking,” Kazuya whispered as he brought his hands around the other’s neck and leaned closer. “Can I kiss you now?”

The question was direct and the answer was final. “No!” Jin knew that if Kazuya kissed him now, then he would be done for.

Kazuya drew one hand near Jin’s face and touched the older’s lower lip lightly, which quivered under the caress. “What a pity!” He exclaimed with a pout.

Jin gulped hard. What was he supposed to do now? Those luscious lips were already tempting enough before Kazuya had to let them form into such an adorable pout. For sure, witnessing such a cute part of the other wasn’t of any help to Jin. He curled his hands into fists, trying hard to resist, when all he actually wanted was to devour those voluptuous lips.

“Why are you resisting so much, Jin?” Kazuya whispered, close to the other’s ears. Jin could feel the younger’s breath on his neck, which sent shivers through his whole body. He clenched his fists harder. “Is it because I’m a guy?” Kazuya wondered and Jin shook his head. “Then why, Jin?” Kazuya pressed. “You’re obviously as attracted to me as I am to you,” he continued, in a sensual voice, as one of his hand disappeared in Jin’s wet dark hair, adding to the older’s sweet suffering. “So why?”

“You know very well why,” Jin managed to answer as firmly as he could. Kazuya loosened his grip in order to let their gaze meet, and he looked at Jin with questioning eyes, not quite sure about what the guy meant. “Don’t play innocent, Kazuya,” Jin said in response to the younger’s stare. “I know your intentions.”

“Huh?” Kazuya looked at the other with surprise and Jin could have believed that the astonishment in his eyes was genuine, if he didn’t know better. “What do you mean by intentions?”

“The reason why you want to have sex with me,” Jin clarified.

“Because I want you,” was Kazuya blunt and sincere answer.

“Or because Ryo asked you to,” Jin corrected and he watched as Kazuya’s eyes became wider before anger settled in them. Such a great actor, Jin thought. Yet, he couldn’t help but feel a little unsure as he looked more deeply into Kazuya’s eyes.

When the words totally sunk in his mind, Kazuya stood up and stared at Jin incredulously, ire evident in his gaze. “What are you taking me for? I’m not a fucking whore!”

“I never implied that you-”

“Then what were you implying?” Kazuya interrupted.

“Why are you the one getting mad?” Jin shouted back, not able to contain his own wrath, partly caused by Kazuya’s acting and partly because he was annoyed at himself for feeling disappointed when the younger had stood up from his laps.

“I don’t know what the hell is wrong with you but I’m not up to deal with your mood swings.”

Jin frowned as he stood up as well to face the other man. “Who is having mood swings?”

“You!” Kazuya accused. “Don’t tell me that you brought me here not knowing what would happen? You obviously wanted it as much as me. And now, you’re giving me that shit? Or were you planning to humiliate me from the beginning?”

“Why would I do something like that?”

“That’s what I’d like to know,” Kazuya retorted. “You know what? Just forget it. I’m out of here.”

Jin watched with a mix of consternation and anger as Kazuya complied straightaway with his words, not leaving any time for the older to utter a word, and slammed the door behind him.
