Work is...Something other people do
My Job never ceases to amaze me.
Today I'm only in till half 11, as we all get 5 hours of xmas shopping holiday. So I'm tidying up a courtroom, before heading out again. Seeing as tommorrow is also a half-day, it seems almost pointless me being here.
Still I was in till after 5 yesterday and earlier in the week, along with early starts trying to finish this sex abuse case (which made the front page of the sun) before xmas.
All done now. Got a guilty verdict and now am I free to finish my xmas shopping, which is nearly done. The biggest challenge I forsee is not simply buying a bunch of stuff for myself as well whicle I'm at it. Oh the woes....
In other news:
Go and see Gonzo, it is great and very interesting, although it helps to have seen Breakfast with Hunter first.
DO NOT go and see Twilight. It's the most malodorous piece of cinematic turd that I've had the misfortune of seeing in the cinema since Batman & Robin.
If you did like this film then all I can assume is that you are a diehard fan of the books and thusly love seeing it realised on film regardless of how badly it's done. (I can understand this)
OR
you have no taste at all and need to grow some critical faculties or castrate yourself to save the genepool forever.
