I'm not alone in what I wrote yesterday about the law reforms. So says the Times. The Independent, true to their name take a
slightly different tact, as usual talking a lot and saying very little other than to give a bleak truism as if it were original thought.
Not much of other interest in the news, everyone is rather happy about the Alzeimer's breakthrough, such as it is.
In festival news, I've been delt the annoying blow in the form of Brendon Burns being a big nancy and not wanting us big nasty critics to come and frighten him on his first night. Meaning I have to reschedule and can't make it. In addition, no-one is getting back to me about anything, presumable due to complete and total clusterfuck that is the new ticket system, however dedicated press offices are supposed to be able to handle such small things as letting me know if I'm going to see a play TONIGHT.
Still it'll all work out in the end I'm sure.
