That Mac vs PC look...
I can't believe it. I was idly looking at myspace when out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mitchell and Webb, of That Mitchell and Webb look standing against a white background.
With David Mitchell in a dull grey suit and Robert Webb in trendy gap-alike gear.
hmmm I thought, this looks familiar. Much like the old Mac vs PC ads which I've pointed out before. Fantastic! I thought, A Mitchell and Webb lampoon of the campaign would be even better than ever..
And look here! surely it will be great???
But no. Sadly Messrs. Webb and Mitchell are off the artistic register forever. Its not a parody, its a shameful re-iteration of the original ads, but with British talent whoring themselves off to the corporate hell.
So to assuage the agonies of let-down felt, I'm sure, by all right-minded folk; I have compiled some comedy for you. Here are some spoofs, lampoons and a good old-fashioned pisstake from Tim Buckley.
