There are those who say, "I love you."
There are those who say, "I care."
But there are few who really show it;
There are few who actually share.

Love is not something that you say;
Love is something that you do.
For if I love in word and deed,
Then, you'll know that I love you.

Living is giving, and giving is living,
Is one of the lessons that I have heard,
Taught by one of experience
That love is more than a word.

So bridge the gap between your creed and deed;
Bridge the gap between what you say;
For a bell is not a bell until you ring it,
A song is not a song until you sing it,
And love is not love, until you give it away.

In a world of chaos,
I stand alone, by myself.
When the laughter fades,
I must laugh alone, with no one else.

I shall rise above
the pain and fear,
To take on the challenges
that come near.

When love no longer matters,
My heart will beat alone, by itself.
If it breaks and I begin to fall apart,
There will be no reason for me
To mend my shattered heart.

When the world turns against me,
There is one solution left for me to follow through.
To show everyone just how strong I can be,
I must fight until the end,
For the entire world to see.

When there is no hope left,
And my world has turned upside down,
I must stand by myself,
To stand my own ground.
