*blinks* I, um, don't know her? I'm going on a family holiday, actually. We're going to shop til we drop or something? :P

I... will try? :x Not my forte, but I'll try? ^^;;

You don't? o.o Huh. She's one of the Amusing Fans and eyestealer's partner-in-crime. *nod* She also encourages Ebil Things like pink aprons on Jade. >.>;;

Heh. I'm always deathly curious about Other Places. Especially you people who live in Big Cities. >.> I can drive across my city in 15 minutes and I live in the 2nd biggest city in my state. x.x Plus, y'know, Asia. Pretty. And doesn't Bangkok have those, uh, temple-things? >.>;

Oh, hey, if you manage to get up semi-high in the air at some point (or in Singapore works too) see if you can get some decent Cityscapes. One of these days I'm going to overcome my serious intimidation over non-living artwork and attempt to sketch out Meg's Bangkok with the five towers. But me not being anywhere near a big city, makes it a tad hard for the getting of Reference Material. ^^; *dork*

^^;;; I don't, I'm afraid.

*laugh* Yeah, but we're not going for the sights, so we might not see anything worth taking photos of. I would like to go see the temples, but my family isn't interested. *rolls eyes*

I'll try? The problem with that is that you'd need a real city-scape right? As in, "working offices" kind of city-scape? Housing estate (even the high rise ones) look different.

Also I don't know what to expect in Bangkok. :x I'll try? :D

>.>; So... your family will fly to another country to go shopping but not visit historical landmarks. Riiiight. ^^;;

Oh. >.> I, uh... had no idea. ^^; All I know about cities is what I see on TV, really. I've lived in one (San Diego) for all of 18 months, and it... well, it's so spread-out that it doesn't really look like a big city. Not much in the way of skyscrapers anyway. 9.9

*huggles* Whatever you can come up with. Just pictures in general would be fun. ^__^ Kinda like going on a virtual vacation or something. ^.~ Ahh, I wish I could go. Thailand has the coolest squiggle-writing... >.> Even if they do have five symbols for the same bloody sound. x.x

Yep. You should've seen them in China. *rolls eyes*

I took a few shots for you, but the smog/haze was quite bad, so they weren't very good shots... And we didn't take ANY family photos at all. *cough* I think it might be better to get you shots of the local work/city-area, or of maybe Hong Kong or something. It really depends on what you want? X_x;;;;

*laugh* I have no clue, I know nothing about Thai. The writing looks a LITTLE bit like Hindi though? :x

>.>;;; That is... strange. ^^;

... NO family photos on a family trip to another country? >.>; Your family is REALLY whacko. ^^;

I'm... not sure what Hindi looks like? ^^; Smudges was translating a few phrases for me in Thai and they looked so cute! *squee* Roman letters are so boring by comparison. ^^;;

:P Yay?

I don't like taking photographs - actually none of us really do - and since the camera tends to end up in my bag and I tend to forget about it... XD

I've seen a little of it, because I had friends who studied Hindi, but I don't remember much. My dad just commented the other day that Thai looks so hard to write and I was like "...yes, well, so's Chinese?" and he was all :x

*lol* My family is more camera-happy. My grandparents will frequently stop the car randomly to get out and take pictures of stuff. ^^;; There's an entire room of their house dedicated to photo albums and boxes of slides. :)

*lmao* I'd say Chinese would be much harder than Thai. Thai only has sounds, not a bazillion different characters. ^^;;;

*laugh* That's good. I don't even have a digi-cam of my own because I am sooooooooooo camera-unhappy. And everytime someone points a camera at me I tend to duck? ^^;;;;

*laugh* Is the Thai alphabet based on sounds? There's a pattern to the characters, like if you look at a series of words with similar sounds they often have one part of the character that looks the same? (Those characters with a right and left hand side to it?) But it's probably a lot harder for someone who didn't grow up with it.

*rolls eyes* Dork. :) You should use the camera to take pictures of Singapore to share with us clueless westerners. Do you sleep on mats like the Japanese or beds like us western sorts or something else? Do your doors slide or hinge? What's your house look like? Do you have a house, or one of those, uh, big living buildings? Inquiring minds want to know! ^___^

Yes, Thai is sounds, like Japanese. ^^

You mean radicals? I know a bit about them, but because they're pronounced differently in Chinese and Japanese I didn't realize they were supposed to sound similar. ^^; Heh.

Aw, but Singapore is a really weird mix of Asian and Western. Also please note, previous British colony. :P

*snrk* Beds, sweetie. Our doors hinge, although I suspect the materials used in the making of houses are different. My house looks like a two story house (as in landed property) but in general the majority of housing here are not "houses", they're high-rise apartments, condominiums or what we call HDB flats. :) ...Wait, you know, I think the idea that comes to your head when I say "house" is not the same one that comes to my mind. :X Maybe you do need pictures after all.

Cool. :O

Umm. I don't know if they're called radicals? *cough* Sweetie, I learned the language in Chinese. XD;;; And I started when I was like, really young. My family tells me there was a period of time when I was tiny (I don't remember this) when I refused to speak anything but Mandarin and dialect. :P

Hmm, okay, then no my house doesn't look like that. :P

Lol, more like I was a difficult annoying baby+infant+toddler+kid, even my mother will tell you that. :P

I just cried a lot the moment she was out of sight, or the moment she put me down, apparently. :P
