Someone who takes fanboying to the next level.
I probably do. "Next level" is relative, of course.

Is brainwashed by the rosy images on anime that Japan is a wonderland where no wrong can't be righted.
Yeah, that would be silly disillusionment.

Listens to J-pop yet hates American pop, and fails to draw the line from Ayumi Hamasaki to Britney Spears.
I have a tendency to prefer jpop. While I see similarities between Ayu and Britney, I definitely see them as different -- One person's music I listen to; the other, I haven't really listened to very much of...

Puts Japanese words in American sentences and thinks it's ok because the Japanese pepper their songs with English.
Definitely better to simply learn the language LOL

Uses the word "otaku" like it's a good thing but doesn't realize it means "obsessed to the point of a mental disorder" in Japanese.
I call myself an otaku with pride, but I know exactly what connotation that word has in Japan. I guess being on staff at Otakon, I have to take pride in the term to some degree, heh. I guess I think ideally that some day, Japan might be able to be a little more open-minded about their absolutes...

Thinks the Japanese will treat him like a king when Japan is one of the most racist, xenophobic, and secretive countries on the planet.
Hehe, that would be another silly disillusion.

Wheee~ Sorry to disagree to some degree :3

Weird... I always draw a line from Ayu to Madonna.
I've always considered Ayu to be the Madonna of Japan *cackles* But after some of her newer stuff, I can't really be sure how accurate that is.
