Today was a great day!
Today has been a very fine day. In a quest to get rid of some items that we didn't want to "keep in the family," we've posted three things on craigslist. Two of the three are already gone and the third item is pending.
I also got a great job offer today that I accepted. After being on the hunt for two months, something excellent came my way. I will start my new job on the 29th of August and I can't wait. I will still be a banker but working for an organization that is on a totally different level than the one I'm with now.
I haven't even started my new job and I am already feeling that my skills and knowledge are, and will be appreciated far more than they have been in the nearly eight years I've been with the bank now.
I think the last two to three years have been about major changes in my life (all for the better) and this is just another one. It will be scary to leave my company after so long, but I am already eager to start my new job as it will be revitalizing and rewarding.
