Jerry Springer, Here I Come!
Yesterday's trip to the dentist re-confirmed my dislike of going to the dentist. Now I know why it has been five years (yes, I know that is a BIG no, no and I am on the verge of being white trash-wait, I can technically only be 1/4 white trash) since I last got my teeth cleaned. Not to mention that I had LAME dental coverage at that time so it cost me an arm and a leg to go.
Anyhow, long story short. I had to get my mouth blasted to get rid of an infection starting under my gums. They only managed to blast and clean half of my mouth and boy am I glad. I was all hopped up on novicain and I was still really uncomfortable after the procedure. I went home and slept it off.
I was also informed that I have several cavities (won't divulge number for fear of confirming that I am 1/4 WHITE TRASH!) that I need to have filled AND to top it off, they want to take out my wisdom teeth! Oye vey! By my calculation that will mean at least four more trips to the dentist within the next few months. Eeewww!
I do have to say that the experience with the people in the office was great. Probably the best ever at the dentist's office. Everyone was very warm and personable which made the experience a lot better. If anyone on the eastside needs a dentist, let me know!
