Friday Night Theme: Oompa, Loompa, Doopity, Doo!
I just had the craziest thing happen to me. About two weeks ago I bought this new blanket. I brought it home, washed it and everything was just fine. I just washed it for a second time and it was disaterous.
I took the blanket out of the washer and noticed some fuzzies on it. I didn't think anything of it since it was just a few little fuzz balls. When I went to check on the drying I noticed the blanket needed a few more minutes. When I went to restart the dryer it was like a scene out of Willy Wonka & The Cholocate Factory. The one when Mr. Nutjob, aka, Willy Wonka takes the golden ticket kids through the car wash in the open car and mounds of bubbles are going everywhere. I didn't have any bubbles, just mounds of fuzz!
Anyway, I turned the dryer back on and apparently the blanket started to fall apart in the dryer. There was so much fuzz it popped the dryer hose off the back, sending a ton of fuzzies into the air! I couldn't see or breath it was so thick. I had to leave the laundry room until all the fuzzies settled on the floor.
Next came the clean up-what a mess. I had to pull the washer and dryer out from the wall and get behind to sweep up the fuzzies. Once I managed to sweep most of it up it filled half of the garbage can. I was covered from head to toe in white fuzz. Yuck!
Just on a side note, is anyone else curious to see how Johnny Depp does playing Willy Wonka in the remake? I have heard it is supposed to be out later this year. He is so eccentric that I think he should be a good fit for the role.
