Kiwi's Healthy Melty Breakfast Sammich!

now that i'm unemployed and chillin at home more often, it allows me to do spend more time to do things like, cook!

yadadameeeaan?!?!


start with:
- 1 multi-grain english muffin
- 1 large egg
- 2 slices of veggie bacon



so, go ahead and slice that english muffin in half and toss in the toaster.

crack open your egg and fry in a small skillet with a little bit of oil. with a spatula, push in the edges a bit and 'shape' the egg so it's as close to a circle as possible.


now this is important. flip your egg over carefully so the top can be fried a little bit. this will help the egg maintain its form and still be slighly runny once it gets put in the sandwich.


flip the egg back over (try your best not to break the yolk), and it should look something like this:

so you're egg's done, now for the veggie bacon. break the strips in half and throw them in the skillet with a little oil. these things cook quickly, so once there slightly brown on the bottom, flip them over. they might look slightly burnt, but just as long as they're not hella burnt.


here's how everything should look cooked. if you do it just right, a slice of swiss cheese will magically appear on your plate.


tadah!

while the english muffin is hot, throw some butter on it!


take the bottom slice and throw that swiss cheese on it. if you're a gangsta, throw that bad boy in the microwave for 15 seconds and you'll get something that looks like this:


unnnngh!

then throw the egg on top of that, then the bacon, then the top english muffin slice.

cut it in half to release the eggy goodness. add a little ketchup on the side, pour yourself a cup of joe, and you're good to go!!!
