So I got a raise. Now before you jump up to hoot and holler for me you might know that it's not worth it. Michelle did my annual yearly review and of course in the personal areas I did well, but of course they add in your stores figures which is bullshit considering the company closed our store for 8 weeks last year and we lost business. So I think it turned out to be an "average" review w/everything divided and multiplied in. So I was talking to Michelle and she randomly out of nowhere (as usual) says "I got your new pay rate." And she was nervous b/c she wasn't sure how I would react. So I got a 50 cent raise. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA HA HA! Now normally it's only 30 cents but they REALLY pulled some strings for me and got 50. And yet I still don't make an even 10 dollars an hour! Funny stuff. Obviously I just laughed. Glad to know I'm a valuable employee. South Carolina here I come. Hopefully Stephanie can get close if not right on the rate I asked for. B/c I will most certainly take it.
