I think the reason I want to be fluent in German is so I can understand the old WWII speeches in documentaries when they don't translate them live in another country.
I've got Naked and Me Talk Pretty One Day waiting for me. As soon as Dress Your Family... comes, I'll have myself a David Sedaris party! (And as soon as my dad stops bugging me for all of my Sedaris itunes.)
