I was working pretty much by myself for awhile, as one guy quit and one guy got fired on the same day. So for about a month there it was me on my own 5 days a week and my manager would be there by himself for 2 while i had the day off. I really hated it because I'd have to leave the kiosk empty for about 2 hours each day. Because you know, if I am going to be there from open to close for 11.5 hours, I am going to take the 2 hours I am entitled to.
Recently, we got 2 new employees and the kiosk hasn't been empty unless the mall is closed. Well I am by myself again today and tomorrow, hence the kiosk is empty for a bit.
Cue the mall security guard I like the least, we'll call him A. There are 4 security guards here, I am on a first name basis with Terry, Herman, and Matt. I don't even know A's real name. He is actually the one who asked me if i get tired of having to play sports on the tv. He is generally pissy and uppity with other people. Today when I got back from one of my breaks he asked me if I was ever here. I basically told him that when I am on my own for the whole day I get 2 hours for breaks and that's why the kiosk is empty. He told me I should put up a sign or else security will list the kiosk as being empty and we can get fined. I do put up a sign. He's just too lazy to look down and notice it. He is the only one who would report me not being there and fine my bosses.
