my eventful summer
havent written in forever! all summer as a matter of fact. well i've been quite busy. first i had summer school for three weeks, which sucked cuz it was life management....health, sex, drugs/alcohol...all that boring stuff. not saying there's anything wrong with sex though, i mean it was just what the teacher was teaching about it...not to do it! then i went to hershey, pennsylvania with my sister for 4 days. it was fun, we went to the park twice and they have this awesome new coaster called the storm runner. it shooter out of the station going from 0 to 70 in 2 seconds! then it goes strait up a hill and strait back down, head first literally! and of course we brought home tons of chocolate. then was the best part of my summer so far, the georgia trip! i say anymore, how much fun it was. 5 drumlines, 95 drummers, STOMP, tiako drummers, african drummers, bill gates, and 20,000 people watching us perform....sounds pretty cool, but what an odd mix. but anyway, bill gates was having one of his "global meeting" things, with people from all over the world there, and the mass drumline was the opening show for his meeting. quite a production i must say. we spent 2 days of hardcore practicing in the georgia dome, a day at six flags, and then the performance. our drumline, eau gallie, dr. phillips, olympia, and satellite drumlines were there to perform, and actually i found that the kids on the other drumlines her alot nicer, lol. oddly enough, when the kids from the other schools saw each other, they'd hug or chat happily as if they hadnt seen each other in years, but nooooooooooo not lake mary! we'd bash each other up side the head, bicker with each other, fight, wrestle, cuss each other out, insult each other, it was insane!!! and everyone on the other drumlines asked if we were all brothers and sisters since we sure acted like it. michelle and i were confused to be sisters, and some how i was thought to be pool's little sister! ahh! jk jk chris you know i love ya, lol, and actually i owe him a thanks cuz he was my only buddy on that hole trip from lake mary, who wasnt being an ass.(well out of the boys, the girls were all ok) and cyrus and steven did save me at six flags from having to walk with ruffner and michelle (who didnt like rollercoasters). so thanks guys. so anyways in the show our choreographer made us dance in the middle of the show, do you know how flippin hard it is to jump with a bass drum on?? well this guy obviously didnt, but he was gay anyways, literally flamming!! i just loved it when he'd come running up to the basses and clack his little drum sticks together (as if he knew how to use them) and he's say "come on guy-ths the-ths see a little pep here!!" we were like dammit, get your ass up here and put on 4th bass you and jump around! k so anyways after the whole catastrophe, the show went down rather well, and it was very exciting and i'm soo glad i went now, i got to mean alot of new people and made alot of friends. so then the night we got back to DP, i met jessica (better know as my best friend since forever) and we drove to the beach to our condo. we spend a week there. the first 4 days it rained non stop which sucked, but then we went shopping the rest of the trip, and jessica has now turning me in to a monster, the clothes she made me buy! agh! and the jeans....i cant even say where i got them cuz i'm too ashamed!!!!!! so then i made her watch the sixth sense just to scare her! it worked except she made me watch the shining, which was awesome and not scary, just creepy. REDRUM! so now tonight i have band camp...8 hours...of dun dun dunnnn DOUG!!! ewwwwww save me some one!!! o well i'll get over it, then school next week so i guess i did alot this summer. too busy for me actually. but in a week it'll be all over, and it'll be back to the same old grind.
