Pablo told me yesterday that the word Sara means 'corn' in Quichua, Ecuador's indigenous language. I made the mistake of telling that to my family and friends and am now am being referred to as 'Maiz' with a disturbing frequency. Actually, I don't really know why I'm telling you this too.
The time draws near for my 21st birthday. You all better come to my party. I'm not posting the date/time here for fear of strange people showing up, but I will email you all details soon. There will be food, drink, fun, and jumping around. And since I'll only be in the states for a few days, and since I will be cooking delicious Ecuadorian specialties, I would really enjoy the pleasure of your company. That means YOU!
