i've been playing with some software and have come up with some maps of my proposed journeys through the rocky mountains
this is the starting point for all 3 trips - the first one in red, the second in yellow (or is that the third?) and the last in green
the extreme right (east) of the red trip as far as Bozeman

where the second trip crosses into idaho up as far as Coeur D'Alene, down to Moscow

and continues down and back to montana through lolo springs
