Ok I think I have won the idiot award for today.
Went for a run, and I fell over and skidded down the footpath and onto someones driveway ( I was running downhill at the time). So I sat there feeling like a total idiot with a twisted ankle and a few chunks out of my hands. I know I got off really easy, it could have been much worse. Took me a while to hobble home.
Ankle is OK, nice bruise coming up. Strange thing is I notice the chunks out of my palms more. Don't really realise how much you use your palms while your trying not to knock them.
Mid semester break now for two weeks. Yay. One big assignment for Intl Communication. a mini-test and a presentation to prepare for, for Law. Not so Yay!!
If my ankle is OK I am going into the city tomorrow, do some research at Auckland Central library and then hit the fun places like Borders Books, Real Groovy Records and Whitcoulls. Maybe a detour to Starbucks for a Frappachino. At least one of the 3 Starbucks on Queen St will lead me astray.
