Back in the world of work
After two weeks of collecting unemployment, I am back in the world of work! I am now sitting at my new cubicle, filling out all kinds of forms. My new company has all the standard bells and whistles for benefits, plus some more exotic perks such as subsidized health club membership, the whole Christmas week off, and a pet care program. My cubicle is nice and quiet, and I got a new laptop. I hope to stay here for a long, long time.
