So you always hear people saying how people are becoming less connected to eachother because of technology making things impersonal and we're loosing that human connection. Well for most of the past week I have been without my computer and cell phone (now just my computer) and I have to say I have never felt so disconnected from people before. Like there's just a certain comfort in being able to talk to people at anytime or if you have a quick question to ask you can. Or being able share your feelings with people with just a quick update of your status or away message. I, like most people, tend to leave my aim signed in all the time, even if I'm just sitting there painting or reading. It gives a strange sense of not being alone. This week without all of that has been very weird. Yea people might not be talking face to face but do you need a face to have a connection with another person?
