HAPPY (sorta belated) BIRTHDAY, AMERICA
You'd think that at OMG American Democracy is Great Camp we'd do something patriotic. But studying for a midterm about American foreign policy was just about the most patriotic thing I did, because Stanford is a dick about fireworks. And actually most of that was about English philosophers. Oh well. I've kept my tradition of wearing my communist shirt on the day for the irony.
