(no subject)
i have a paper due tomorrow and i don't want to do it. instead, i'm going to write in livejournal. yay for wasting time!
gosh, i haven't written one of these in awhile. anyhow.
so school has been alright. actually, no. it sucks. i can't wait for summer. but i'm sure i'm not the only one who feels that way. so yeah.
living in davis is pretty fun. jon and nimri are fun roommates. nimri watches news in spanish and jon plays counterstrike all the time. by the end of this year, i'm gonna be fluent in spanish and run around yelling, "HEAD SHOT! ULTRA KILL!" so far, my favorite davis memory is taylor breaking our front door because he was trying to protect us from robbers.
i think it's sad how my two male roommates cook dinner for themselves every night and i on the other hand resort to making cocktail sauce sandwiches (cocktail sauce is my new obsession!) or eating cereal. yeah, it's healthy i guess, but it's also so sad. nimri and jon actually cook their food while i just make a sandwich on a paper towel. yup. a paper towel. i don't even use plates half the time because i am THAT lazy. i mean, to be positive, i can look at it as me "living the college life." eh. i guess i should make an effort to learn how to cook. maybe. but until then, if one of you have a hankering for some good cereal or a sandwich with cocktail sauce, you know who to come to!
but yeah. aside from not knowing how to cook and hardly eating real food (unless i go out and buy it), davis life is good. i like having anne and hilda as neighbors because i can just run over there and watch tv with them. yeah. i won't lie, there's not too much to do in davis. just a lot of tv watching and maybe some hw doing. for the most part, it's just tv. it's okay though because i like tv and i'm sure that tv likes me as well. i also get spanish lessons from anne. actually, they're not really lessons. it's just anne talking to me in spanish and me trying to figure out what she's saying. it's kinda like a game! so yeah, with the help of spanish news and anne teaching me spanish like a baby i am positive that in no time flat i will be quad-lingual...quad-lingual is the right term, right? ... oh well.
oh yeah. yesterday i was on the bus and i sat behind a boy who smelled like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! omg! he smelled so good! but yeah, i didn't want to come off as crazy so i tried not to smell him for too long. i have to say that that was one of the best bus rides EVER. talk about motivation for going to class. if i was guaranteed chocolate chip cookie smelling boys on the bus everyday, i would SO go to class!
okay, it's seven and i have less than a paragraph written. i better started on my paper.
