Taobao reviews: Surface Spell and others
I got new stuff from Taobao.
Since some items sell out after some time, I won´t link directly to anything anymore.
I´ll only give you the links to every shop.
Surface Spell
It´s nothing new that they have an amazing quality. This time, I bought one of my dream dresses, the Dancing Roses OP, a matching headdress and a chiffon blouse.
This headdress was supposed to have white and blue feathers, blue fabric roses with white pearls and blue crystals on pearl chains.
As you can see, I got blue roses, but only white feathers (and some very tiny blue ones on the back, which are almost invisible) and clear crystals.
They stated at the items description, that the colors may vary due to the material they use.
But honestly, when I buy something that has the main color blue, I don´t expect to get something more white than blue.
It is pretty and well made, but I´ll have to invest some work to make it match my dress. I´m very disappointed that they didn´t even bothered to attach some more pearls like on the stock pics or at least use more than 3 feathers.
Funny thing about this one, I also ordered one for my friend in pink. My shopping service told me, they would only have a dark pink one, not as light as on the stock pics. My friend was okay with that, so we ordered dark pink. When it arrived, it was alsmost exactly like on the pics, same colors and everything.
So it seems it´s a game of luck what you get...

This blouse is made of sturdy chiffon, not too light. (I have to wriggle and pull quite a bit to get it off, but the fabric doesn´t mind that treatment^^)
I ordered it custom made and it fits very good. To put it on, you use a hidden zipper on the side. It´s a little bit difficult to close it on your own, since it´s under your arms, but it works well. The lacing brings the last touch to make it fit perfect.
The lace is different from the pics, but still very pretty and soft. The cameo brooch is very cheap plastic, but doesn´t look bad at all. It´s also very light, so it wouldn´t pull the light fabric down.
Only point that bothers me: the sleeves.
They seem to be too short on me, even though they match the measures I gave them.
When I wear it without pulling it down till it´s strained, the lace only reaches barely to my wrist. Since I prefer long sleeves to be longer than this, it bugs me a bit.
But overall they are fine, it looks good and even the elastic stitching in the sleeves is not uncomfortable.

Again, an absolute gorgeous dress. Great fabric, great embroidery, great lace.
Also custom made, it fit´s wonderful, even the sleeves are not too tight or anything.
There is also a hidden zipper in one of the side seams for putting the dress on, which is also a bit difficult to close.
The buttons and loops for attaching the lacing to the neckline are a bit weird, the loops are way too long so it´s fully visible when you wear it this way.
I think I will either remove the loops and attach new ones lower on the inside, or I just sew the lacing itself onto the dress.

Surface Spell were so lovely to send me some of their fabric roses as a gift, I suppose because of the long waiting time (almost one week more than they estimated).
One of the blue ones is only a brooch, the other three can be used as brooch or hair clip. I´m especially happy about the blue ones, since they match the dress. ^^
Chyanyan
They sell a lot of jewelry with Fimo roses. I bought a bunch of things to match the Dancing Roses OP.
I´m aware you could also buy only the roses and make your own jewelry, but all these items were cheaper than if I had bought all things for crafting them ;)
Two hairclips, 4cm long. I like this type of clips, because they hold very well in thin hair.
As you can see, one of the clips arrived damaged, but it was very easy to repair with some hot glue.
Ring with a bigger rose(diameter is 3cm). You can also purchase them with smaller roses.
I like how they added a rhinestone to cover the hole on the side, but I don´t get why they did that only on one side...
The ring itself can be made smaller and bigger, so it fits everyone.
My favorite from this shop. Wonderful design and so many lovely different pearls and beads.
Since there is no extra chain for making it smaller, but only the metal chain itself, you can make it as small or wide as you want (from 16-25cm)
Plus points for this!
Wonderful necklace! You can vary the lenght how you want like on the bracelet, it reaches from 34-54cm, so you could almost wear it as a choker too.
It is not very heavy and very comfortable to wear.
Apparently this is/was also available at Primark XD

For my "big" order, it got these tiny hairpins as a gift.
I´m very happy, since I was thinking about ordering smaller ones too, but decided against it.

Mars Fashion
They don´t sell Lolita, but they have a lot of cute things.
I ordered one in white and one in beige.
Apparently, beige means apricot in this case. Left is the white on, right the "beige" one. It´s really a bit more orange than on this pic.
I have nothing to match the apricot one, so I´ll sell it.
But despite the color issue, they have a nice soft fabric and wonderful lace, very soft and well-made.
The measurements stated are also true and it fits really comfortable.

Furuseason
A great variety of wigs for cosplay, lolita and BJDs.
I couldn´t decide which one to order, so I bought both.
The right one looked a bit less purple and a bit more brown on my screen, but I love the real color much more!
They are both 70cm long, not very shiny and extremly soft and natural. Due to the soft waves, they have a nice and natural volume.
Overall I absolutely love them, and they were cheap too^^
