Woo! I finally finished making myself a new journal layout! I'm so happy! I like this one a lot better than my last one. I might just be saying that because this one is a lot more girly, SasuNaru lovey-dovey, though. xD *snuggles layout*
It turned out a little skinnier than I thought it would be when I was editing the main picture, but I think it's okay. I mean, if I were able to go back in time, I probably would have made the image bigger, but I think it looks fine like this.
Once again, the image was drawn by my very favorite doujinka,
Mameya! Everyone in the world should check out her work, as she is wonderful. She draws the best SasuNaru...!
Speaking of doujinshi, I have another Pokemon one coming in the mail! I'm so excited! Here are the pictures of it that were on the listing:
(Psssst! If you drag the images up to your URL bar, you can see bigger versions of them!)
If the last picture is any indication, I think it's Green x Red. I'm not entirely sure, though. 'Cause, I mean, what's N doing on the cover of a Green x Red? Plus, I think it's supposed to be only 20 pages... Eh... I'll just see when it arrives! I'm really happy, because this will be my fourth Pokemon doujinshi! More stuff to work on for when Nerin, Darknessneko and I open up the Pokemon scanlation group soon. Mwahaha.
I love Red's adorable uke faces on those pictures, though. Especially the second picture. x3 Hehe. This doujinshi should arrive in a few days, as I just paid it off and sent in a shipping request for it from SMJ. Get here soon, my beautiful doujinshi!
Just one last thing before I wrap this entry up! This weekend while I sick in bed, a girl came to my front door. My mom went and talked to her, and it turns out she was selling some CDs with songs she had recorded. My mom bought both of the two different types of CDs she was selling--one that had mostly pop music and one that was more rock.
So, Mom had the luck of coming down the steps while I was puking my guts out (lovely, right?), and let me have the one that contained mostly pop songs. I've been listening to the CD these past few days, and, well... This girl isn't too bad. ^^ I mean, you can tell she's not a professional singer, but I think she has some talent. My friends tell me I'm just easily appeased, but... Meh. xP Her name is Emilie Henry, and I think she's someone I can support. Plus, she's from my small Kansan town. How cool is that? Also, I like her song "The Pirate Song." It makes me want to go and reread the first chapters of One Piece. Haha.
Though, a few of them are a little corny... (Can you say another unrequited emo love song? Ahaha...)
My friends are probably right about the whole 'easily appeased' thing... >.> But whatever!
