1. Particularly
New Zealand brides. This bride chased the drunk man who rear-ended her car. When the new bride called police, the "incoherently drunk" driver tried to get the car going again.
"He tried to drive forward - and ran over my wedding dress, the prat."
When the drunk ran away up the street, the bride followed.
2. Brides-to-be don't want their
bridesmaids to put on weight or get pregnant before their big day.
A British survey found more than one in five women planning her wedding would ask her maid-of-honour to sign a written bridal "prenuptial agreement". Almost half of those questioned (48%) said they would sack a bridesmaid who did not abide by the contract.
The survey, commissioned by You & Your Wedding magazine, asked more than 1000 women which clauses they would like to see in a contract.
Favourite answers included not putting on weight, not falling pregnant intentionally and not changing a hairstyle before the wedding day.
