I'm glad I met the fabulous women who go to ICFA and who made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived at Fort Lauderdale. It's mainly because of them that I am now saving to go to ICFA again. I loved the thought-provoking talks, the free and lively discussion at panels, the chance to learn about new fandoms, socialising and finally getting to meet those who I'd only known previously via e-mail and livejournal.
