Why do I write this way?

This post is thanks to a couple of people on a list (Yahoo group, not lj) who decided that it was OK to dogpile me for (of all things!) my writing style. I'm not talking about fanfic, theatre reviews or journal articles. What got up their noses was my e-mail, list and even lj writing style

I think only one of them used the term circumspect - I've summarised their blathering on in a few words because I don't want to be any more boring that I already am. :-) Anyway, I'm done with them now, don't have to have anything to do with them and if people are that sick of me they don't have to read what I write. I'll go off and write some professional theatre reviews instead. *g*
