Sausage Cornbread
30 mins, serves 9
1/2 lb bulk sausage
1/4 c oil
1 c cornmeal
1 c flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 c milk
1 egg beaten
precook sausage until small crumbles, set aside
mix cornmeal, flour, and baking powder well
add milk ,oil and egg, mix well
layer 1/2 of cornbread mix into 8" by 8" pan
sprinkle sausage over cornbread mix
layer remaining cornbread mix over top
bake at 350 for 20-25 mins or until 'knife test' comes out dry
