The lights are on and nobody's home
I'm looking through a few folks' journals and noticing--- you are all here as rarely as I am! I feel less like a slack bitch now.
My show opened. The illustrious Robert Cohen will write me a reference for PhD programs. I am going to SF and Seattle in under two weeks and that means I get to cuddle with xandi and moonlacuna!!
The wind is blowing a gale outside... the poor Winter's Tale. Outdoor theatre is a crapshoot. Twelfth Night (the show I'm working) previewed and opened without incident despite weather reports announcing rain and thunder both nights. But Winter's Tale preview started an hour late last night because we had to wait for a wee rainstorm to pass over. Tonight... who knows?
This summertime rep theatre gig is something else... I haven't had so many 2, 3 and 4am nights since, oh, last time I was immersed in summertime theatre rep in Edinburgh.
